Turning Investment into Impact

Since 2019, SCCS has been grateful to partner with the Fordham Street Foundation, whose generous support has helped advance equitable educational opportunities for children and families at Southwest Early Learning Bilingual Preschool (SWEL) and the Refugee & Immigrant Family Center (RIFC).

The Fordham Street Foundation supports initiatives that improve education and reduce racial and socioeconomic disparities in educational opportunities and outcomes. Through its investments, the Foundation helps ensure all children have access to excellent teaching, enriching experiences, and pathways toward long-term success.

SCCS extends its sincere appreciation to Judy Bigelow, Founder of the Fordham Street Foundation, for her continued belief in SCCS’s mission, and to Desmond Brown, Board Member, for his recent visit where he saw firsthand the impact of this important investment on the children, families, and educators at SCCS.
