Reflecting over this past year, we have much to be grateful for and topping our list is our community and donors, our teachers and Directors, and of course, the children and families served by our eight early learning, child care, and school age programs. In 2019, we had remarkable growth as an organization with the addition of two new hires in our Central Office to better support our center Directors, the expansion of our Board of Directors--adding three new members and two new Board Fellows, and the transition of an Assistant Director to Director, now leading the Pinehurst Northgate and Hazel Wolf locations.

Our work--creating high quality, culturally relevant education for all children through the collaboration of child care centers, is made possible by the generosity of our donors. We were able to serve 400 children and families in 2019, many of whom would not be able to afford safe and quality programming without your championing of equitable and enjoyable experiences for children. It's never too late to support our work by visiting, www.soundchild.org/impact.
What's on the horizon for 2020? We look forward to expanding our reach to serve more children and families in Seattle while continuing to create and identify new and unique ways to further anti-bias education, meaningful professional development training for teachers and Directors, and access to education and care, especially for marginalized communities. Additionally, we have a few exciting updates that we will share in 2020. Happy New Year!
