Meet Javier Casio

Working hand in hand with SCCS center directors, is a support team that ensures programs function efficiently, effectively, and filled with joy! This month, we’re excited to highlight Javier Casio, Assistant Director at the Refugee & Immigrant Family Center and Southwest Early Learning Bilingual Preschool.

"My commitment to the children has been to provide and foster an experience like no other before they have to go into the real world. I strive to document the children’s milestones and the essence of their play every day."

With a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, Javier has devoted his career to nurturing and guiding young minds, every day. Known to many as “Teacher Javie,” he infuses fun and play into his work while fostering an environment where children feel secure, seen, and included. We recognize and thank Javier for his tireless commitment to families in the South Delridge community of West Seattle.
