The Seattle Preschool Program

Holding one of the largest Seattle Preschool Program (SPP) contracts, SCCS knows the significance and value of this high quality, evidence-based preschool program offered by the Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL).

Since 2015, SCCS has worked with SPP to help prepare thousands of children for kindergarten by developing academic skills and supporting social-emotional growth. Today, SCCS operates SPP at five different Centers throughout King County. SPP like SCCS, believes that high quality preschool should be affordable and accessible.

SPP is funded by the voter-approved Families, Education, Preschool and Promise (FEPP) Levy with the key goal to eliminate opportunity gaps in kindergarten readiness and provide equitable access to high-quality learning experiences for all preschool-age children.
